Jamaica Hotels Earn Top Hospitality Awards

Three of the Jamaica’s top resort hotels were recently honored in TripAdvisor’s 2010 Travelers’ Choice awards.based on reviews and opinions from travelers worldwide.

The three Jamaica hotels voted into Trip Advisor's "Top 10 Luxury Hotels in the Caribbean & Mexico" are: The Caves (No. 3), Jamaica Inn (No. 8) and Royal Plantation (No. 10). The Caves also received the coveted No. 1 position for "Top 10 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean & Mexico" and additional commendations" for "Top 10 Hotels for Service in the World" and "Top 10 All Inclusive Resorts in the World," where the resort placed No. 8 and No. 2 on the lists, respectively.

These awards add to a long list of accolades recently bestowed on the island's tourism industry. Among them: "Best Caribbean Destination" at the Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards, "Leading Caribbean Destination", "World’s Leading Cruise Destination", "Caribbean's Leading Cruise Destination", "Caribbean’s Leading Airline" – Air Jamaica, and "Caribbean’s Leading Airport" – Sangster International Airport at the 2009 World Travel Awards.
