"Wind Village" is the Newest Friuli Venezia Giulia Attraction In Northern Italy
The Wind Village of Lignano, a new destination dedicated to those who love wind and sea, deserves particular attention. Located at the two main seaside resorts of northern Italy, it is dedicated to aquatic sports from May to October.
In addition to classic activities like sailing and swimming schools, cycle-touring routes (with free bicycles in Lignano), aquatic and theme parks – there will also be a series of services for families, which last year were very well received in Lignano. These include baby parking and a "Mini-club", two equipped areas subdivided by age range, where it's possible to play under the supervision of qualified staff; "Mother’s rooms" (indoor space for the cleaning and feeding of children up to 2 years.
The same entertainment model will be repeated in Grado, where there will be the “Isola delle mamme felici” (Island of happy mums), an equipped space with a "shade, bar", reading area and mother’s rooms.
TurismoFVG (Tourist Office of Friuli Venezia Giulia) plans to add a selection of hotels and campsites characterized by high specific standards, for the care and comfort of children and families, with special fares for children and with a series of equipped spaces and services for children, such as specific menus, babysitting and entertainment programmes, diversified by age range.
There's not only golden sand and perfect sea for the relaxation of the whole family: in Friuli Venezia Giulia you will also find comfort and welcome certified by the product club Appartamenti Turistici (Tourist Apartments), a group of 42 selected structures which provide a higher quality standard from the point of view of comfort and services. The accommodation structures of the Club are distinguished by elegant furnishings and an excellent value for the price.
These two seaside resorts also focus on relaxation and wellness, including a new “Oasi Relax” (Relaxation Oasis), an area suitable for the most demanding guests, dedicated to wellness and equipped with large gazebos, green plants, awnings, sun beds, sofas, armchairs and whirlpools.
